The most solarpunk TV show you’ve never seen is coming to Netflix

We need as many people as possible to watch it so it carries on

A future society where vibrant communities live immersed in nature while embracing the potential of technology. Sounds pretty solarpunk right?

Well this vision is brilliantly depicted in the awesome sci-fi series Moonhaven.

The show, first aired in 2022, was sadly cancelled after its first season. This wasn’t because it was unpopular.

Moonhaven was the number one, most-watched AMC+ exclusive series and most-watched new series in the streamer’s history behind Dark Winds. The reason why AMC reversed the renewal was due to their financial implosion at the time.

This super solarpunk TV series is going to start streaming again on Netflix from this 17th December. We’re asking you to do one of the easiest possible things you can to support solarpunk. Watch (and rewatch) this show and encourage others to do the same.

If Netflix sees enough people are watching Moonhaven then there’s a chance they might commission more seasons. We’ve spoken to Peter Ocko, the showrunner behind the series, and he says he’d love to make more of it.
